Brothers & Sisters
The time has come for of us to pull together and help mom through what lies ahead. I'm sure everybody is going to want to help.
This is a blog that you can write notes in. If you have something new to say, it's a "Post". If you want to add something to what someone else has said, it's a "comment".
I've also invited you to use a calendar so that we can keep track of doctors' appointments, nurse visits and our own family stays.

A place to coordinate
I thought this might be a good place to coordinate information about looking after Mom. We're going to have to keep track of medications, appointments and support schedules. In addition, it'd be nice to note Mom's mood & progress, so that those of us who are remote can stay informed. This is a blog that you can write notes in. Post Script
One thing Nora & I learned from going through the summer of 2013 with Nora's mom is that it's important to keep track of your own health. If you find yourself getting exhausted, back away and get some rest; there's lots of other family to step in and take your place. If you find yourself getting sad or upset, ask for help; if family can't help, there are professionals that our medical team can find for us. We need to be healthy to be good caregivers.
